How Surgismart (House of Surgicals, Choolai, Chennai) delivers orders, supports customers after purchase, handles returns and replacements, and supplies sterile and apparel products. Figures on this page come from our own order records and are updated periodically.

Our delivery record

Based on 33 consecutive orders delivered between 13 and 23 October 2026 (time from order placed to delivery at the customer's door):

• Median delivery time across India: 3.6 days
• 85% of orders delivered within 6 days (28 of 33); 55% within 4 days
• Tamil Nadu: median 2.4 days, fastest 1.7 days
• Slowest delivery in this period: 8.3 days (Rajasthan)

Orders placed before 2 PM, Monday to Saturday, are dispatched the same day from Chennai. Typical delivery after dispatch: 2–3 working days in Tamil Nadu, 3–4 in other South Indian states, 4–6 in the rest of India, and 6–9 for the North-East, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the Andaman Islands. If something is wrong with your order

1. Message us on WhatsApp with your order number within 48 hours of delivery.
2. Share photos and a continuous unboxing video of the parcel.
3. We confirm the issue and arrange a free replacement, or a refund to your original payment method if a replacement is not available.

Device warranties. Warranties on devices such as BP monitors and nebulisers are provided by the brand. Your Surgismart order confirmation is your proof of purchase, and we help you raise the claim with the brand's service centre.

Delivery delays. If tracking shows no movement for 48 hours, message us and we chase the courier for you.

Returns and replacements, explained

Medical and surgical products cannot be returned once delivered, because a product that has left our controlled storage cannot be resold safely to another patient. This protects every customer. What is covered:

• Damaged in transit, defective or wrong item: free replacement or refund when reported within 48 hours of delivery with an unboxing video.
• Surgismart scrub suits: size exchange or return on a request raised within 48 hours of delivery, unused and in original packaging.

Sterile products and packaging

Sterile disposables (syringes, catheters, IV sets, sterile drapes and similar) are sterilised by their manufacturer and supplied in the manufacturer's original sealed pack. The sterilisation method, batch number and expiry date are printed on each pack. We never open, repack or re-sterilise sterile products. A pack is sterile only while it is sealed, dry, undamaged and within its expiry date. Manufacturer documentation for specific products can be requested by hospitals and institutions through our bulk team. Reusable surgical instruments are supplied clean but non-sterile and must be sterilised before use.

Surgismart scrub suits: fabric and care

• Fabric: 70% cotton, 30% polyester, 110 GSM, with reinforced stitching at stress points.
• Care: wash inside out with similar colours at up to 40°C; do not bleach; dry in shade to protect the colour.
• Colour: wash dark shades (Navy, Black, Wine) separately for the first few washes, as with any dyed cotton-rich fabric.
• If you find a stitching or fabric defect on delivery, report it within 48 hours for a free replacement.

Prices

Prices on surgismart.com include taxes. Shipping is free on orders of ₹999 and above. Paying online saves 5% (up to ₹100); Cash on Delivery carries a ₹50 fee. Hospitals and institutions can request bulk quotations.
