HOW TO MEASURE

Waist / Abdomen: Wrap a measuring tape around your waist immediately below the navel. Keep it snug but not tight.
Neck: With neck in extension (looking slightly up), measure the distance from the edge of your sternum to your lower jaw.
Chest: Measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.
Ankle: Measure the circumference approximately 2 inches (5 cm) above the bony part of the inner ankle.
Finger: Measure the length of the affected finger from base to tip.

The United Medicare Restrainer (G-22) is a padded wrist and forearm restraint used in clinical settings across Chennai and Tamil Nadu for preventing patients — particularly elderly, post-operative, or cognitively impaired individuals — from inadvertently pulling at IV lines, wound dressings, catheters, or surgical sites during recovery.

Air-filled bubble interfaces on the inner surface distribute pressure evenly across the wrist, preventing skin breakdown or nerve compression that can occur with traditional cotton restraints during prolonged use. The cushioning provides good grip without creating painful contact points, keeping the patient comfortable while maintaining the necessary positional control. The Velcro fastening system allows nursing staff in Chennai's hospitals and care facilities to apply and remove the restrainer quickly and securely without disturbing the patient excessively. It is also used in home care settings across Tamil Nadu when families are managing post-surgical patients who may disturb their own wounds during sleep or confusion.
