Description
The United Medicare Foot Drop Splint (D-07) is a specialised ankle-foot orthosis used by neurological patients across Chennai and Tamil Nadu suffering from foot drop caused by stroke, spinal cord injuries, peroneal nerve palsy, or other conditions causing loss of ankle dorsiflexion.
The splint holds the foot in a neutral position — preventing the toe-drag gait pattern associated with foot drop — allowing patients to walk more safely with a normal heel-to-toe step. The lightweight plastic shell supports both the foot and lower leg, with foam padding protecting pressure points over bony prominences.
